He has been in contact with immune cell technology since the 1980s, and is one of the earliest experts in China to use regenerative medicine for clinical treatment. Up to now, nearly 20000 cases of immunocyte and stem cell therapy have been reported. He took the lead in proposing T-cell activation therapy for liver diseases and undertook a major natural fund project in Hebei Province: T-cell therapy for leukemia. As the first author, he published several academic papers in core journals.

Dr. James Hideyo Araki graduated from Illinois State University with an M.D. degree. He was chief of the Emergency Department at Bethesda Medical Center in Chicago, USA, certified in emergency medicine, family medicine, and internal medicine. He was engaged by St Luke's Medical Center in Japan to participate in the development of a cell biology project, and became one of the early experts in the clinical application of cell biology. He has long been a director of Noguchi Medical Research Institute, a well-known Japanese medical company. Co-authored and published two medical monographs, "Hypoglycemia for Dummies"and "Encyclopedia of Hepatitis and other Liver Diseases".
